Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How is the book laid out?
A: There are 25 ideas and each idea has 2 pages, an introductory page that explains how the idea solves a problem you may have in your garden and an actionable page, describing step-by-step how you can go about implementing the idea as well as some handy tips.
See above for sample pages of one idea.
Q: Am I going to have a tranquil garden in one weekend?
A: Probably not. Unless you have tons of help, an unlimited budget and the enthusiasm to keep going. I would recommend picking one or two of these ideas for each weekend and enjoy not only the end results but also the process. You could be done in 10-12 weeks. If you have some time off from work, you could also use this time to follow through with these ideas.
But no rush: a lot of these ideas are anyways ongoing pursuits. If you have a small area such as a balcony or patio, you might actually be able to follow the applicable ideas (14 are doable on a balcony or patio and are marked as such in the Table of Contents) in one weekend.
Q: Am I going to be able to use all of these ideas in my garden?
A: You could but it is not expected. You can pick and choose what you want and need. Some may not be applicable to you, especially if you only have a balcony or patio or small garden.
Q: Where can I get more help and ideas?
A: You are already where you need to be. The site you are on (tranquilgarden.ca) contains many articles that expand on some of the contents of this eBook and also cover other topics that will help you achieve a tranquil garden.
I also have several other eBooks in mind over the coming years which will comprehensively cover common topics.
I also encourage you to subscribe to the Tranquil Garden newsletter for not only a weekly newsletter, but also access to free downloadables, including checklists and guides, and notices of special offers.
Q: What if I already have a tranquil garden that I’m happy with?
A: Congratulations! I’m glad you are happy in your garden. However no matter how great it is, there is always room for improvement. And even if you think you don’t need the ideas right now, having them in the back of your mind or in the contents of this eBook is handy for when you do decide to follow through on one of these ideas.
Q: How can I help improve the eBook?
A: I always welcome feedback. You can provide feedback by emailing email@example.com. Feedback will be incorporated into the next edition of the eBook, which will be free to download for anyone that has already purchased it.
Q: I would love to have a physical printed version of this eBook.
A: I agree, this would make a perfect coffee table book! I would need some interest shown to look into offering a printed version via print-on-demand as there are some changes I would have to make to make the eBook work as a printed book. Please show your interest by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: Do you offer volume purchases for gardening clubs and organizations?
A: Yes, there is a discount applicable for this type of promotion. Please contact email@example.com to obtain a special discount code.

A: Please email email@example.com with your questions and I’ll answer them as promptly as I can.
Q: Can I get a refund as the eBook just isn’t for me?
