I took a walk through the garden with my daughter this afternoon and we found an amazing abundance of fruit.
Gardening requires certain skills and knowledge to be successful. However there are some personal qualities that can also help you succeed as a gardener.
The five senses: sound, smell, sight, taste and touch. They affect how we feel. They are often the deciding factor in what we do and don't do. They save us from harm. They are a large part of our lives. Garden spaces are rich with stimulants for all five of our senses. There are easy ways to ensure that we maximize the potential for these senses to be present and satisfy our needs.
I just completed the major steps of my greenhouse roof renovation and I’m happy on how it turned out. I had roof leaks when it rained that needed to be addressed (too much moisture in a greenhouse causes mildew)
I had to renovate a portion of one of my raised beds to transplant some seedlings. Just a few steps.
It’s great being able to go out into the garden and find so much abundance that is almost ready to harvest.
