Michelle Chouinard – TCM

ABOUT MICHELLE
Since I was very young, I have always had an interest in discovering new things, travelling and personal development. Professionally, integrative medicine has been my primary interest but I developed other skills before shifting completely in this direction. I am currently studying Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
I am very professional and have the best interest of my clients at the core of my work ethic. I speak both French and English fluently.
CREDENTIALS:
I also have a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Ottawa and practiced mainly in the Mental Health sector for several years and even managed retirement homes. I then worked in Africa and Asia for more than six years as a humanitarian aid worker for Doctors Without Borders. In 2010, after having worked in Haiti and lived through the earthquake, I finally decided to fulfill my other life goals. In 2011, I began studying Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I will graduate both programs in June 2012. While I am working on my doctorate in Acupuncture, I have already begun working with clients on stress and pain management.
