Proper posture/technique will be taught, and modified to meet student needs. This class will incorporate a variety of moves and styles to form a choreography. Basic belly dance moves will be taught such as the Hip Lift and Drop and the Shimmy. The last class of this six week session will end with a Hafla, or dance party, to celebrate the choreography learned! It is our hope as you learn the dance you will gain a new appreciation of your beautiful body just as it is right here and right now! Come give it a try!
